The best way to explore Oxford is on foot – so you’re
advised to take a guided walking tour to orient yourself. Not
all the tours are available all year round, some are only available
on selected dates and most need to be booked in advance. You should

The most popular introductory tour, taken by the majority of visitors.

When Alice met Harry Tour:
"Alice in Wonderland" was inspired by Alice Liddell,
who spent her early years in Oxford and was a friend of Charles
Dodgson (Lewis Carroll). Some of the scenes in the “Harry
Potter” films were shot in the city
William Morris & Victorian Oxford Tour:
The Pre-Raphaelites were closely connected with Oxford. Edward
Burne-Jones and William Morris studied here and together with
